Bodies Found: Mysterious Headless Victims Discovered in Ondo River - International Edition

Police Operatives have recovered three headless bodies found floating in a river along the Odigbo-Ore road.

According to sources, the remains were already in an advanced state of decomposition.

A witness named Shileola stated that the bodies were found on Sunday.

He mentioned that nobody was reported missing in the communities within that region.

Shileola observed that the victims could have been murdered and their bodies discarded in the river.

"I was stunned when I initially learned about it via telephone. I hurried to the location, trying to recognize the victims by their attire or anything else, but all my attempts were unsuccessful," he stated.

The Ondo Police spokesperson, Alayande Olayinka, mentioned that the remains have been transferred to the morgue.

I can verify for you that three bodies were found at the river in Odigbo. Once the report reached the Ore Division, the Divisional Police Officer dispatched an investigator to the location where the remains were discovered.

However, after the DPO recovered the body, it was transported to the morgue.

The Data Protection Officer called for a meeting with the community leaders and various stakeholders to facilitate the identification of the remains. They instructed anyone possessing relevant information to come forward and verify. However, from that point onward, we haven’t received anything new. No one has successfully identified any of the deceased.

It is thought that these bodies were transported to the site and discarded there by unidentified individuals. Therefore, we do not think this occurred during that time period.

The region where this occurred shared borders with many states, including Ogun and. Edo States Therefore, we think the body did not originate from these states. Nevertheless, it was discarded into that river. It’s possible though that the river carried it there on both occasions.
